BioChar CoCoa Coir Worm Bedding - 5 Gallon Sack

This supercharged worm bedding is a mix of 20% "BioChar Now," and 80% Coco Coir. Because each 2 inch piece of biochar has the surface area equivalent to +57,000 square feet (the size of a football field,) BioChar that has passed through a worms digestive system will have had much of it's 57,000 square feet inoculated with the beneficial soil biology and beneficial nematodes found in the worms' digestive systems. Beneficial soil biology helps to make the nutrients that are already in your soil more plant available, thereby negating the need for traditional fertilizers and increasing soil fertility over time. BioChar-ged worm castings robustly improve yields, soil biology and water retention in soils. Research on BioChar has shown:
